Conductive plastic is a kind of functional polymer material, which is mixed with resin and conductive material and processed by plastic processing. It is mainly used in electronics, integrated circuit packaging, electromagnetic wave shielding and other fields.
Classification of conductive plastics
1. According to the classification of electrical performance, it can be divided into: insulator, antistatic body, conductor and high conductor. Generally, the insulator with resistance value above 1010 Ω· cm is called insulator; A semiconductor or antistatic body with a resistance value in the range of 104 ~ 109 Ω· cm; Those with resistance value less than 104 Ω· cm are called conductors; A high conductor is one whose resistance value is less than 100 Ω· cm or even lower.
2. According to the production methods of conductive plastics, they can be divided into structural conductive plastics and composite conductive plastics. Structural conductive plastics, also known as intrinsic conductive plastics, refer to plastics that have conductivity by themselves or by chemical modification. Structural polymer conductive materials mainly include:
(1) π conjugated polymers: such as polyethylene, (SR) n, linear polyphenylene, layered polymers, etc;
(2) metal polymer: such as polyketone phthalocyanine;
(3) charge moving polymer complexes: such as polycation and CQ complexes. The production cost of this kind of polymer materials is high and the process is difficult. So far, there has been no mass production. The widely used conductive polymer materials are generally composite polymer materials, and their filling materials mainly include:
A. metal dispersion system; b. Carbon black system; c. Organic complex dispersion system.
3. According to different uses, it can be divided into antistatic materials, conductive materials and electromagnetic wave shielding materials.
